How to Buy Mobile Proxies: The Pay-Per-GB Guide

One price. $4/GB, down to $2.40 at volume. Endpoints, connections, and rotation free.

Most proxy providers make you rent ports by the month, guess your bandwidth, and forfeit whatever you did not use. Mobile proxies at Proxies.sx work differently: you buy traffic by the GB, it never expires, and everything around it is free. This guide walks you from signup to a working 4G/5G proxy connection in under five minutes.

Mobile Proxy Pricing at a Glance

Every GB you buy works on real mobile and residential IPs across two networks: a flagship peer network spanning 100+ countries and growing, and a fleet of dedicated 4G proxies on carrier modems in the US, UK, France, Netherlands, Poland, and Georgia. Same balance, same price, your choice of routing.

How Buying Proxies Works Here: GB, Endpoints, Connections

If you have bought proxies elsewhere, unlearn the subscription model. Here there is exactly one thing with a price tag: bandwidth. You hold a single GB balance, and every proxy you create draws from it. That is the entire billing model for these pay per GB proxies.

You buy GB. Everything else is free

Traffic is measured in gigabytes and counts both upload and download. Your balance never expires: buy 100 GB today, use 40 GB this month, and the remaining 60 GB waits for you indefinitely. There are no monthly minimums, no seat fees, and no port rental. Usage is tracked in real time in your dashboard.

What is an endpoint?

An endpoint is a live connection point into the network: either a Pool Gateway credential that reaches every country in one line, or a Dedicated Port pinned to a single 4G/5G modem. Endpoints are free and unlimited to create. Each one gives you HTTP and SOCKS5 access, your own credentials, country and carrier targeting, and free IP rotation.

Free parallel connections that grow with you

Your tier sets how many connections you can run at the same time. Tiers are based on cumulative lifetime GB purchased, they only ever go up, and they never reset even if your balance hits zero.

One Plan: $4/GB, Down to $2.40/GB at Volume

Mobile proxy pricing usually means comparing a grid of plans. Here there is one: $4 per GB, discounted automatically as your order grows. No checkout codes, no sales call, no premium tier hiding the good IPs.

No private tier, no hidden upsells

Some providers charge double for "private" or "dedicated" pools. We do not. If you want exclusive access to specific devices, reserved routing is available at the same $4/GB; exclusivity is a routing preference here, not a price bracket. Everyone gets the same networks, the same rotation, and the same support. Compare that with the market on our full pricing page. The peer network exits include real residential IPs as well as mobile ones.

Step-by-Step: How to Buy Proxies in 4 Steps

1

Create your account

Sign up at client.proxies.sx with an email address. No subscription starts, no card is required to look around. Building for AI agents with no account at all? The x402 flow lets an agent pay per request in USDC.

2

Buy GB

Open Purchase, pick an amount, and the volume discount applies automatically as the number climbs. Pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) or crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC via hosted checkout). Your GB lands in one balance shared by everything you create, and it never expires. Buying 25 GB or more also bumps your lifetime tier, permanently unlocking more parallel connections.

3

Pick your access method: Pool Gateway or Dedicated Port

Pool Gateway (recommended start)

One credential, every country. Connect to gw.proxies.sx:7000 (HTTP) or :7001 (SOCKS5) and choose routing inside the username itself. peer is the flagship network: real residential and mobile IPs across 100+ countries and growing. mbl routes through our own 4G/5G carrier modems in the US, UK, France, Netherlands, Poland, and Georgia. Full token reference on the Pool Gateway page.

Dedicated Port

A pinned 4G/5G modem with its own host:port, yours until you delete it. Pick country, optionally city and carrier, and get fixed HTTP + SOCKS5 ports with your own login. Rotate the modem's IP on demand, on a schedule, or via a rotation URL, the same way our rotating mobile proxies work. Best for accounts that must live on one consistent device.

        | | | └ session id: keeps requests on the same device

        | └ pool: peer · mbl · any · best

Both draw from the same GB balance at the same $4/GB. TCP traffic only; SOCKS5 must use the socks5:// scheme on port 7001. Most buyers start on the Pool Gateway and add Dedicated Ports for the workloads that need pinning.

# SOCKS5 (note the socks5:// scheme, port 7001)

Run it twice with different sid values and you will see different exit IPs. Same sid keeps you on the same device. That is the whole integration; every tool that accepts an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy works from here. Setup walkthroughs for specific tools live in our setup guides.

Mobile Proxy Buying FAQ

How much do mobile proxies cost at Proxies.sx?

$4 per GB, discounted automatically by order size: $3.60 at 25 GB, $3.20 at 50 GB, $2.80 at 100 GB, and $2.40 at 250 GB and up. That is the entire price list; endpoints, connections, and rotation are free.

Do I pay for endpoints, ports, or IP rotation?

No. Endpoints are free and unlimited to create. Rotation is free. Your tier sets how many connections run simultaneously, from 5 at Starter to 80 at Enterprise, and tiers are free too.

Does purchased GB expire?

Never. Your balance carries forward indefinitely, and your lifetime tier never resets, even at zero balance.

What is the difference between the Pool Gateway and a Dedicated Port?

The Pool Gateway is one credential (gw.proxies.sx:7000 HTTP, :7001 SOCKS5) that reaches every country by changing tokens in the username. A Dedicated Port pins you to a single 4G/5G modem with its own host and port. Both bill from the same GB balance at the same rate.

Which countries can I target?

The flagship peer network covers 100+ countries and growing, with residential and mobile IPs. Our own carrier-modem fleet covers the United States, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Poland, and Georgia. Country targeting is free.

Are these real 4G/5G mobile proxies?

Yes. The mbl pool routes through physical modems on real carrier plans, and the peer network exits through real consumer devices. Traffic exits on genuine carrier and home-ISP ASNs, which is why mobile IPs pass checks that datacenter IPs fail. Read more about where our IPs come from.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC) via hosted checkout. AI agents can also pay per use in USDC through the x402 protocol with no account at all.

How does IP rotation work, and what does it cost?

It is free. On the Pool Gateway, add a rotation token to your username: rot-auto5/10/20/60 rotates on a timer (auto10 is the default), rot-sticky pins one device. On Dedicated Ports, rotate on demand, on a schedule, or via a rotation URL.

Can I keep the same IP for a whole session?

Add a session id (-sid-yourname) plus -rot-sticky and the gateway pins your device. Note: sticky pins the device, and mobile carriers can still re-issue the egress IP through carrier NAT. If you need an IP that holds for hours, use a residential exit on the peer pool or a Dedicated Port.

Should I use HTTP or SOCKS5?

HTTP on port 7000 works with almost every tool and is the safe default. SOCKS5 on port 7001 suits raw TCP clients; it must use the socks5:// scheme. The gateway carries TCP traffic.

What happens when I run out of GB?

Your proxies pause. Top up and they resume instantly; nothing is deleted and your tier is untouched.

Is there a monthly fee, subscription, or premium tier?

No. There are no recurring charges and no higher-priced "private" bracket. Reserved or exclusive routing, where available, is billed at the same $4/GB.

How is traffic measured?

Total bytes transferred, upload plus download, metered in real time and visible in your dashboard down to the MB.
