Unité is the mobile brand of Moldtelecom S.A., the state-owned national operator of Moldova, and the mobile service is now sold under the Moldtelecom name. AS8926 is the ASN documented as carrying the network. The registry holds three network codes under MCC 259, with MNC 05, 03 and 99.

About Unité

Three ASNs are registered to Moldtelecom. AS8926 is the one documented as carrying mobile, and at the last probe it announced 111 IPv4 prefixes against 7 IPv6 prefixes. PeeringDB lists it as Moldtelecom with an info type of Cable/DSL/ISP. RIPE inetnums originated by AS8926 name 3G SGSN prepaid and postpaid user ranges and a GGSN postpaid block, so one ASN carries both the fixed and the mobile network. AS31580 is the MD-IX route server ASN and announced nothing; AS41221 announced 2 IPv4 prefixes and has no documented role.

An address whose origin ASN is AS8926 is routed by Moldtelecom, and the mobile core sits inside that space, but so do the xDSL and fibre subscribers and the operator's own infrastructure. The origin ASN alone does not tell you whether an address belongs to a handset, a home line or a business connection. AS41221 announces a small amount of space with no role recorded, so the same caution applies. AS31580 belongs to the Moldova internet exchange route servers rather than to subscriber traffic.

Mobile service branded Unité runs on Moldtelecom's network, and the registry documents AS8926 as the ASN carrying it. Moldtelecom also holds AS41221, which announces two IPv4 prefixes with no role recorded, and AS31580, the route server ASN of the Moldova internet exchange.

What is the MCC/MNC of Unité?
