Autonomous systems
Holder names and prefix counts come from the RIPE NCC's RIPEstat Data API, fetched on 2026-09-06. Role and confidence come from the evidence linked in each row; "confirmed" means a PeeringDB or RIPEstat record, or the operator's own site, names the operator.
Mobile network codes
The MCC identifies the country and the MNC identifies the operator inside it. Together they appear in the IMSI of every SIM on the network and in device diagnostics; they are how a handset knows which network it is on.
About du
The registry records one ASN for du, AS15802, held by Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC under the name DU-AS1 and documented as the operator's mobile AS. At the last probe it announced 170 IPv4 prefixes and 189 IPv6 prefixes, so its IPv6 footprint is slightly wider than its IPv4 one counted by prefixes. PeeringDB records the network as du with an information type of NSP. The same AS originates fixed and enterprise ranges alongside its LTE address blocks.
An address whose origin ASN is AS15802 is routed by du inside the United Arab Emirates. Because that single AS carries mobile traffic together with fixed broadband and enterprise ranges, the ASN on its own does not tell you which. An address in it could sit on a 4G LTE or 5G handset connection, or on a home or business line, and telling them apart takes prefix-level detail such as the netname on the specific range rather than the AS number.
Research note. Legal name: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (EITC), founded 2005 (du.ae press release PDF, 13 Feb 2024). No telecom parent group; the same PDF states core shareholders are government-related entities: Emirates Investment Authority 50.12%, Emirates International Telecommunications Company LLC 19.7%, Mamoura Diversified Global Holding PJSC (Mubadala). AS15802 (DU-AS1, org ORG-DIC1-RIPE) is du's single announced AS: 170 IPv4 / 189 IPv6 prefixes, ~1.16M IPv4 addresses, fully visible in RIS; it originates both consumer/mobile ranges (e.g. 5.30.8.0/22 netname DULONGTERMEVOLUTION-NET 'Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (EITC-DU)') and fixed/enterprise ranges (FESTIVALCITY-NET, LAGOONS-NET, AE-DWTC), so it is a combined mobile+fixed AS rather than a mobile-only one. No PeeringDB record found. MCC/MNC 424-03 listed on Wikipedia ITU 4xx table as du / Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, Operational, UMTS 2100 / LTE 800 / LTE 1800 / 5G 2500 / 5G 3500 / 5G 26000; GSM shut down Dec 2023 (cites du.ae/2g-shutdown). Generations: du.ae/5g/our-network states '5G won't replace 4G, but rather create an additional layer to our network' and '5G is the evolution of 4G'; 5G coverage in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and selected areas of other emirates.
Checking whether an IP belongs to du
Look up the origin ASN of the address and compare it with the table above. RIPEstat answers for any address, and the RADB whois mirror lists the routes registered under an ASN.

What is du's ASN?
The registry records one ASN for du, AS15802, registered to Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC as DU-AS1 and documented as the AS carrying its mobile network. At the last probe it announced 170 IPv4 prefixes and 189 IPv6 prefixes.
What is the MCC/MNC of du?
du uses MCC 424 with MNC 03 in the United Arab Emirates. That is the only network code pair the registry records for the operator. The codes identify the network to handsets and roaming partners, and they have no bearing on the IP prefixes AS15802 announces.
Is an IP from AS15802 a mobile IP?
Not necessarily. AS15802 is du's documented mobile AS, but it also originates fixed broadband and enterprise ranges, so an address in it can belong to a home or business connection as easily as a handset. The AS number alone does not settle the access type.
