Self-hosted mobile proxies on Android · marketplace · REST API

Mobihub takes an Android phone with a working SIM and turns it into your own mobile proxy. Install the app, sign in, and the handset starts serving HTTP, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 traffic on a real carrier IP, managed from a web dashboard. There is no root, no third-party VPN app in the chain and no shared pool: the SIM is yours, the IP is issued by your carrier, and the proxy geolocation follows wherever the phone physically sits. The homepage lists 10,000+ active users, 5,000+ proxies available across 50+ countries and 99.9% uptime. Alongside self-hosting, Mobihub runs a marketplace where mobile proxies can be rented from, or listed by, device owners. Subscriptions start at $4.00 per device per month, and PROXIES.SX readers can use promo code PROMO1908RS for 5% off.

How the platform is put together

Three layers, and once the model clicks the dashboard reads very quickly.

Device

The phone itself, running the Mobihub app. Android 9 or newer, 2 GB of RAM, an ARM Cortex-A55 class chip or better, no root. SIM and eSIM both work.

Proxy

One proxy per device. This is where IP-rotation rules, DNS and the relay server live, and it is the unit the subscription is billed against.

Connections

Individual host:port:login:password access points that inherit the proxy settings, each with its own traffic, thread and access limits.

Plans and pricing

Billed per proxy, which in practice means per phone, over a 30-day period drawn from an account balance in the dashboard.

Beginner

$4.00per device / month

Up to 35 Mbit/s and 15 connections per proxy. IPv4 and IPv6, SOCKS5 UDP, allowed-IP list, custom DNS, statistics, Telegram-bot management.

Professional

$7.00per device / month

Unlimited speed and up to 30 connections per proxy. Adds traffic, connection and speed limits, a dedicated VIP server, SmartRelay and Unique IP.

Period discounts

30 days is the base rate. Paying for 90 days takes 8% off, 180 days takes 12% off and 360 days takes 20% off. A 7-day period is also available at a 50% premium for anyone who wants to test the water before committing to a month.

Volume discounts

On the Professional plan these apply automatically by the number of proxies with an active subscription and stack with the period discount: 6% from 5 proxies, 12% from 10, 16% from 20, 20% from 50, 24% from 100, 28% from 300 and 32% from 700. Fleets above 1,000 are handled on custom terms through support.

Tariffs are stated in US dollars, payments run through third-party providers so Mobihub never stores card details, and the pricing page carries two calculators: one for plan cost by device count and period, and a proxy-farm model for device cost, income per device, monthly expenses and payback period. Plan changes mid-period are pro-rated, with used days deducted and the remaining balance recalculated into days on the new tariff.

Protocols, rotation and control

Full protocol set

HTTP and HTTPS, SOCKS4 with allowed-IP-list authentication, and SOCKS5 with both CONNECT and UDP ASSOCIATE. IPv4 and IPv6 alike, on a proprietary raw-socket stack that needs no third-party VPN app.

Rotation, several ways

Toggle airplane mode by hand, hit the button in the app, ask an Android voice assistant, fire a MacroDroid macro from an HTTP GET, or let the platform rotate on a schedule or on demand.

Unique IP

On Professional, the system checks each newly issued IP after a reconnect and repeats the cycle if it matches the previous one, up to a configurable number of attempts.

SmartRelay

Also on Professional: outgoing traffic rides Wi-Fi while the mobile network carries the inbound side. The Mobihub blog puts this at roughly half the SIM traffic and two to seven times the throughput.

Relay selection

Pick the nearest relay server to cut ping. Proxy geolocation always follows the physical phone rather than the relay, so choosing a closer server does not move your apparent location.

Access control

Allowed-IP lists accept single addresses or CIDR subnets in IPv4 and IPv6, alongside custom DNS, traffic and connection and speed limits, plus statistics and traffic charts.

Marketplace, API and free tools

Marketplace

A place to buy or rent mobile proxies straight from device owners, with filters for country, region, carrier and IP type, verified sellers, seller ratings and reviews, encrypted transfer, and payment released once activation succeeds. It was still being rolled out at the time of writing.

REST API

Bearer-token authentication and documentation at mobihub.biz/en/documentation. Create connections, manage proxies, check status and pull usage statistics from your own scripts.

Free public tools

An online proxy checker that takes a pasted list or a .txt upload in IP:PORT or USER:PASS@IP:PORT form and tests HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 for availability, speed, anonymity and location, plus an IP and geolocation checker and a regularly refreshed public proxy list.

Who it suits

Two groups meet on this platform. The first is anyone building and monetising their own mobile-proxy setup on Android hardware, from a solo operator with a spare handset through to farms of dozens or hundreds of devices, including people who want to rent that capacity out on the marketplace. The second is the buyer who simply needs mobile IPs for a job. Developers get the REST API; multi-accounting teams get a documented pairing with anti-detect browsers such as BitBrowser.

Getting started and support

The app comes from Google Play as com.mobihub.app, from APKPure, or as a direct APK on the site. New clients can activate a free 24-hour trial once, by contacting support, with no bank card required and nothing to link. After that, paid use continues on the chosen tariff. Subscriptions auto-renew every 30 days and can be switched off from the account management page or through support, and any price change takes effect only at the end of the current billing period, announced by email so there is time to cancel first.

Mobihub applies GDPR as its baseline for personal data, encrypts passwords and client data, and keeps traffic metadata logs for security and legal compliance. Those logs also serve device owners directly: because the platform owns no IPs itself, an owner who needs to demonstrate good faith can draw on them. The acceptable-use section is refreshingly plain about lawful use only, and clients who rent proxies onward are expected to publish their own end-user terms, run KYC and handle their own end-user support. The Terms of Service were last updated on 10.01.2026.

Talk to a human

Live chat on the site is the fastest route the team recommends. There is also a Telegram support bot at t.me/mobihubbot, a community chat at t.me/mobihubchat, and email at support@mobihub.biz with replies usually inside 24 hours.

Read first, ask later

A 30-question FAQ covers setup, rotation, SmartRelay, protocols, phone recommendations and seller protection, with API docs alongside it and video walkthroughs on YouTube, RuTube and VK Video. The FAQ even names handsets the team has found stable, such as the TECNO Spark 30 5G, Realme Note 50 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S.

Mobihub + PROXIES.SX: own the hardware, rent the rest

These two solve opposite halves of the same problem. Mobihub is for the team that wants to own the device layer: your phones, your SIMs, your rotation schedule, your marketplace listings. PROXIES.SX covers everything you cannot physically reach, with ready-to-use 4G/5G mobile and residential IPs across 90+ countries, billed per GB, endpoints free, and no hardware to source, ship or babysit. In practice a lot of operators run both, keeping devices in the markets where they hold local SIMs and leaning on a hosted pool for the geos that would otherwise mean shipping a phone abroad.

Mobihub

Your own Android handsets and SIMs, full control of the device layer, from $4 per device per month.

PROXIES.SX

Hosted 4G/5G mobile and residential IPs in 90+ countries, per-GB billing, free endpoints, nothing to maintain.

In summary

Mobihub is a clear, well-documented answer to a specific ambition: I have phones and SIMs, make them work as proxies. The Device, Proxy and Connections model keeps a growing fleet legible, the protocol coverage goes further than most self-hosting tools with SOCKS5 UDP in the box, and SmartRelay is a genuinely interesting piece of engineering for anyone watching a data plan. Around that sits the infrastructure a serious operator wants: a REST API, allowed-IP lists and custom DNS, statistics, Telegram management, stacking volume discounts that reward scale, and a marketplace for turning spare capacity into income. Pair it with hosted PROXIES.SX mobile IPs and you get both halves of a mobile-proxy strategy: the devices you own, and the countries you do not.
