Before a fresh proxy goes into an ad account or a scraping job, you want to know what the other side sees. Open the ToDetect IP page on that connection, with nothing to install, and it reports whether the address reads as mobile, datacenter, proxy or Tor, which ASN and organisation it belongs to, and how the major IP databases have recorded it over time.

What the IP page tells you about a proxy
The IP page is where the button above lands, and it is where a proxy buyer will spend most of their time. It pulls its data from four IP databases, IPinfo, IP2Location, MaxMind and DB-IP, and lays the answers out in a single column so you can read them top to bottom.

The four flags
Each lookup answers Is Proxy, Is Tor Exit Node, Is Data Center IP and Is Mobile IP. For a 4G/5G endpoint, Is Mobile IP is the line you check first.
Above the flags sits an IP Quality Score, labelled on a scale from Extreme Risk through High Risk, Neutral and Clean up to Extremely Clean. The page notes that a higher score means better IP quality.
Because all of this runs against the connection you are on, the way to test a proxy is simply to route your browser through it and reload. The page then describes that endpoint, not your home line.
A record that goes back in time
ToDetect also shows how the record for an address has changed over time. Under the main result you get an ASN history with CIDR, country and first-seen dates, an organisation history, a registration history with the registry and country, and an IP location history over time.
That timeline is useful when an address has moved between owners or been re-announced under a new network. If you are deciding whether a range belongs to a carrier or has been reassigned, the first-seen dates give you something concrete to look at.
DNS and WebRTC leak checks
DNS leak test
Shows your IP, ISP and country next to the DNS server that answered the query. If that resolver belongs to your home provider rather than the proxy, the page flags it as unprotected: the sites you visit are visible to a DNS server that has nothing to do with the proxy.
Below the result it suggests fixes, from encrypted DNS to switching the system resolver.
WebRTC leak detection
Shows whether WebRTC is giving away your local or public address behind a VPN or proxy, the leak that makes an otherwise clean proxy setup point back at you.
It also checks microphone and camera permission state, since media access is another way WebRTC can expose private addresses, and gives disable steps for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Bot detection and fingerprint consistency
The bot detection page shows whether your browser gives itself away as automated: Webdriver flags, the User-Agent and signs that browser properties have been altered to hide automation. If you run headless browsers or an antidetect profile, this is a quick way to see which of those signals your setup is giving off.
The homepage adds a Browser Fingerprint Consistency percentage built from location, hardware, browser and software signals, a single number that tells you whether the profile holds together or something in it is out of place.
Rounding out the set: a browser checker that confirms the engine version matches the User-Agent, plugin and canvas detection, and separate timezone and media device pages.
