The registry records two ASNs for T-Mobile Austria GmbH. AS8412 is documented as the mobile ASN and holds nearly all of the address space: at the last probe it announced 124 IPv4 prefixes against 41 IPv6 prefixes. AS39210 is recorded as a fixed-line network, the former cable operation, and announced 3 IPv4 prefixes against 1 IPv6 prefix. Both were announcing at the last probe. The probe found no PeeringDB record against either number.

An address whose origin ASN is AS8412 is routed by Magenta Telekom, and the registry documents mobile customer space on that ASN, so mobile is the likely access type without being guaranteed for any single address; the same ASN also carries the operator's other assignments. AS8412 (TMA): PeeringDB name 'Magenta Telekom', aka 'T-Mobile Austria, UPC Austria, Maxmobil, Telekabel, Chello', website magenta.at, 124 IPv4 prefixes, announces RIPE inetnums AT-MAXMOBIL-* and TMA_GPRSINTERNET 213.162.80.0/20 (mobile). AS39210 (CATV-AT): RIPEstat holder T-Mobile Austria GmbH, org ORG-CBG1-RIPE, 3 IPv4 prefixes; as-name indicates cable TV (former UPC) network, so role fixed. MNC: RTR list assigns 232-03/04/07/13/23 to T-Mobile Austria GmbH; 232-15 is not in the RTR list (ITU 2018 lists it as Mundio Mobile) and was dropped. 232-07 is the HoT (Hofer Telekom) MVNO on Magenta and 232-13 former UPC Austria per Wikipedia. Generations: magenta.at/5g states Magenta Telekom supplies half of Austrian households with 5G and lists LTE/LTE Advanced tiers.
