BH Mobile ASN, MCC/MNC and IP prefixes

BH Mobile is the mobile brand of BH Telecom d.d. Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 90 percent owned by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its mobile network is carried by AS9146, registered as BIHNET BH Telecom d.d. Sarajevo. The registry records MCC 218 with MNC 90.

The registry records a single ASN for BH Mobile, AS9146, held by BIHNET BH Telecom d.d. Sarajevo and marked as the ASN carrying the mobile network. It was announced at the last probe with 111 IPv4 prefixes against 14 IPv6 prefixes. PeeringDB lists the network under the name BHTelecom and classifies it as Cable/DSL/ISP, and no separate mobile-only ASN is recorded, so the same number carries fixed and mobile traffic. Recorded radio generations reach 4G LTE.

An address whose origin ASN is AS9146 is routed by BH Telecom. Because that ASN also carries the company's fixed-line customers, the number on its own does not tell you whether an address sits on the mobile network or on a wired connection, and the PeeringDB type points the same way. Treat AS9146 as a BH Telecom address and read the access type from another signal, because the registry holds no second ASN that would separate the two sides of the network.

Research note. AS9146 is BH Telecom's single registered ASN (PeeringDB: BHTelecom aka BIHNET, website bhtelecom.ba, type Cable/DSL/ISP); it carries both fixed and mobile traffic, no separate mobile ASN found. All Telemach BH candidates (AS42432, 42450, 42560, 42983, 43604, 50938, 51386, 197687) are a different company (Telemach BH d.o.o., RIPEstat holder confirmed for AS42560) and were rejected. Ownership 90% Federation of BiH per Wikipedia; the operator's own site only points to SASE/rvp.ba shareholder registers. LTE-Advanced launched commercially April 2019; 5G only tested (2020), company states 2026 focus on commercial 5G development but no launch confirmed.
