TIM is a mobile network operator in Brazil, controlled by Telecom Italia (TIM S.p.A.). AS26615 is documented as carrying its mobile network and is the only one of the four TIM ASNs in the registry that announces routes. TIM's mobile country and network codes are 724-02, 724-03 and 724-04.

The MCC identifies the country and the MNC identifies the operator inside it. Together they appear in the IMSI of every SIM on the network and in device diagnostics; they are how a handset knows which network it is on.
About TIM
The registry holds four ASNs registered to TIM. AS26615 is the documented mobile ASN and the only one announcing routes, with 1,051 IPv4 prefixes against 314 IPv6 prefixes at the last probe; PeeringDB records it as TIM Celular with network type NSP. AS13584, held by the legacy regional entity TIM Nordeste SA, along with AS17379 and AS53157, announce no prefixes at all, and none of the three has a PeeringDB record or a documented role.
An address whose origin ASN is AS26615 is routed by the network the registry documents as TIM's mobile side. The other three ASNs announce nothing, so no address in the routing table currently originates from them. Should any of them begin announcing, the registry gives no role for it, and an address from that ASN could be mobile, fixed or enterprise, with the ASN alone not settling the question. TIM's mobile network runs 4G LTE and 5G.
Research note. AS26615 is the only TIM ASN currently announcing routes (RIPEstat: 1051 v4 / 314 v6 prefixes; reverse DNS *.isp.timbrasil.com.br) and carries the consumer mobile network. AS17379, AS53157 (both TIM S/A) and AS13584 (TIM Nordeste SA, legacy regional entity) are registered to TIM per RIPEstat/registro.br but announce no prefixes ('announced: False'); roles not determinable. No PeeringDB records for any TIM Brasil ASN. MNC 724-08 from the candidate list is not listed as a TIM row in the Wikipedia 724 table and was dropped; 724-02/03/04 are operational with LTE 700-2600 and 5G 700-3500. Candidate row 724-04 was confirmed. What is TIM Brasil's ASN?
AS26615 is the ASN documented as carrying TIM's mobile network in Brazil, and PeeringDB names it TIM Celular. The registry also records AS13584 (TIM Nordeste SA), AS17379 and AS53157 as registered to TIM, but none of the three announces any prefixes and none has a documented role.
What is the MCC/MNC of TIM Brazil?
TIM Brazil is recorded under MCC 724 with the network codes 02, 03 and 04, taken from the ITU region 7xx code table. The registry lists no further MCC/MNC row for TIM, and these codes are separate from the ASNs that carry the operator's traffic.
Is an IP from AS26615 a mobile IP?
