Autonomous systems

Holder names and prefix counts come from the RIPE NCC's RIPEstat Data API, fetched on 2026-09-06. Role and confidence come from the evidence linked in each row; "confirmed" means a PeeringDB or RIPEstat record, or the operator's own site, names the operator.

Mobile network codes

The MCC identifies the country and the MNC identifies the operator inside it. Together they appear in the IMSI of every SIM on the network and in device diagnostics; they are how a handset knows which network it is on.

About TDC

TDC is a Danish mobile operator whose consumer brand is YouSee, sold by TDC Brands A/S inside TDC Group and running on the network TDC NET operates. The registry marks AS3292, held by TDC Holding A/S, as the mobile network, and records MCC 238 with MNC 01 and MNC 10, the second listed as a test network.

The registry lists ten ASNs registered to TDC and its sibling companies. AS3292 is the one recorded as carrying mobile, and at the last probe it announced 175 IPv4 prefixes against 4 IPv6 prefixes, more address space than the rest of the set combined. Three others announce: AS34482, which PeeringDB names Nuuday Cloud and types as Network Services; AS197317, PeeringDB's Nuuday Entertainment, typed as Content; and AS50757, the Nuuday IP core, which has no PeeringDB record. AS2109, AS8322, AS8526, AS8989, AS39554 and AS51008 announced nothing at the last probe.

An address originating in AS3292 is routed by TDC, though no source ties mobile subscribers to that ASN directly; the mobile role rests on it being the only large announced network under the TDC name, so an address there could equally be fixed broadband or business connectivity. Addresses from AS34482 and AS197317 belong to service and content platforms rather than consumer access. TDC NET also carries the YouSee, Telmore, TDC Erhverv, Relatel and Eesy brands, so one origin ASN can cover subscribers of any of them. The six unannounced ASNs should not appear as the origin of live traffic.

Research note. 238-01 is the TDC A/S production network (GSM/LTE/5G); 238-10 is listed as a TDC test network. AS3292 (PeeringDB: 'TDC A/S', aka Tele Danmark, ~2500 IPv4 prefixes, website tdcgroup.com) is the only large announced TDC ASN and is the most likely carrier of YouSee mobile traffic, but no source explicitly ties mobile subscribers to a specific ASN, so the mobile role is an inference. AS34482 (PeeringDB 'Nuuday Cloud') and AS197317 (PeeringDB 'Nuuday Entertainment') are announced but are service/enterprise networks. AS2109/8322/8526/8989/39554/51008 are registered to TDC entities in RIPEstat but currently unannounced; Fullrate (AS39554) is a former fixed-broadband brand. TDC Group split in 2019 into TDC NET (infrastructure) and Nuuday (now TDC Brands, owning the YouSee, Telmore, TDC Erhverv, Relatel, Eesy, Hiper brands); tdcnet.dk/5g lists YouSee, Telmore, TDC Erhverv, Relatel and Eesy as brands selling 5G on the TDC NET 4G/5G network. YouSee site footer: CVR 40 07 52 91.

Check whether an IP belongs to TDC

Look up the origin ASN of the address and compare it with the table above. RIPEstat answers for any address, and the RADB whois mirror lists the routes registered under an ASN.

Questions

What is TDC's ASN?
The registry records AS3292, held by TDC Holding A/S, as the ASN carrying TDC mobile traffic, alongside nine further ASNs registered to TDC and TDC Brands entities. Six of those nine announced no prefixes at the last probe.
What is the MCC/MNC of TDC Denmark?
TDC uses MCC 238 with MNC 01, written 238-01, for its production network. A second code, 238-10, is recorded as a TDC test network rather than one carrying ordinary subscriber traffic.
Is an IP from AS3292 a mobile IP?
Not necessarily. The registry files AS3292 under a mobile role, but no source ties mobile subscribers to it specifically, and TDC also runs fixed and business services. An address from AS3292 is routed by TDC; the ASN alone does not tell you whether the connection is mobile.

Where TDC meets other networks

PeeringDB records TDC as a participant at internet exchanges in 10 cities. Each city page lists the exchanges there and the other networks present.

Sources

ASN and prefix data describe how the operator's networks are registered and announced. They do not identify an individual subscriber or where a device is, since carriers route traffic from many areas through shared gateways.
