The MCC identifies the country and the MNC identifies the operator inside it. Together they appear in the IMSI of every SIM on the network and in device diagnostics; they are how a handset knows which network it is on.
About Nova
The registry records four ASNs under Nova Telecommunications & Media Single Member S.A. AS25472, the former Wind Hellas ASN, is the one documented as mobile, and at the last probe it announced 345 IPv4 prefixes and 42 IPv6 prefixes. AS1241, the former Forthnet ASN, is the fixed-line network and announced 70 IPv4 and 29 IPv6 prefixes. AS15617 announced 16 IPv4 prefixes and no IPv6. AS8951, described in the RIPE database as the old HellasNet ASN, announced nothing. PeeringDB records both AS25472 and AS1241 as Cable/DSL/ISP networks.
An address whose origin ASN is AS25472 is routed by the network the registry documents as Nova's mobile one, and an address originating in AS1241 is on the fixed-line side. AS15617 has no documented role, so an address from it could be mobile, fixed or enterprise and the ASN alone does not settle that. AS8951 announced no prefixes at the last probe, so no address should originate there at all. PeeringDB types both larger ASNs as Cable/DSL/ISP, which describes each network as a whole and does not narrow an individual address.
