About Nova

Nova is a Greek telecommunications operator owned by United Group. The registry records four ASNs for it, with AS25472 carrying the mobile network Wind Hellas brought in when it merged into Nova, AS1241 the fixed-line network, and AS8951 and AS15617 holding no documented role. Nova's MCC/MNC codes are 202-09 and 202-10.

The registry records four ASNs under Nova Telecommunications & Media Single Member S.A. AS25472, the former Wind Hellas ASN, is the one documented as mobile, and at the last probe it announced 345 IPv4 prefixes and 42 IPv6 prefixes. AS1241, the former Forthnet ASN, is the fixed-line network and announced 70 IPv4 and 29 IPv6 prefixes. AS15617 announced 16 IPv4 prefixes and no IPv6. AS8951, described in the RIPE database as the old HellasNet ASN, announced nothing. PeeringDB records both AS25472 and AS1241 as Cable/DSL/ISP networks.

An address whose origin ASN is AS25472 is routed by the network the registry documents as Nova's mobile one, and an address originating in AS1241 is on the fixed-line side. AS15617 has no documented role, so an address from it could be mobile, fixed or enterprise and the ASN alone does not settle that. AS8951 announced no prefixes at the last probe, so no address should originate there at all. PeeringDB types both larger ASNs as Cable/DSL/ISP, which describes each network as a whole and does not narrow an individual address.

AS25472 (WIND-AS): PeeringDB 'WIND HELLAS TELECOMMUNICATIONS' aka 'Wind Hellas, NOVA', website nova.gr, type Cable/DSL/ISP, ~398 announced prefixes; it is the former Wind Hellas (the mobile operator merged into Nova on 2023-01-11 per Wikipedia) AS, hence role mobile, though PeeringDB does not type it as mobile explicitly. AS1241 (FORTHNET-GR): PeeringDB 'Forthnet' aka NOVA, Cable/DSL/ISP, ~1000 prefixes, historically the fixed-line ISP. AS15617 (WIND-HELLAS): RIPEstat confirms holder, announced (16 prefixes), no PeeringDB record; role not determinable. AS8951 (HELLASNET-GR): RIPE DB descr 'Old HellasNet AS', not announced, no PeeringDB record; legacy. Parent: nova.gr footer links to united.group; Wikipedia states United Group became sole shareholder by April 2021. Generations: nova.gr home says 'Αναπτύσσουμε το δικό μας δίκτυο 5G ... έως 1 Gbps' and footer lists '4G & 5G Home Internet'; the home-internet page cites Nova's 5G mobile network. MNC candidate 202-299 could not be confirmed by any fetched source and is dropped; Wikipedia also lists 202-17 for NOVA (status unknown), not a candidate, not included. Duplicate candidate row 202-10 collapsed.

What is Nova's ASN?
The registry records four ASNs for Nova. AS25472, the former Wind Hellas ASN, is the one documented as carrying mobile. AS1241 is the former Forthnet fixed-line network. AS15617 and AS8951 are registered to Nova but have no documented role, and AS8951 announced nothing at the last probe.
What is the MCC/MNC of Nova Greece?
The registry lists two pairs for Nova, 202-09 and 202-10, both under mobile country code 202 for Greece. Other Greek network codes are sometimes associated with the operator, but the registry holds no confirmed source for them and does not record them.
