PopCash Review 2026
The Popunder Network: 80% revenue share for publishers, campaigns from a $5 deposit for advertisers
A visitor lands on a page, clicks anywhere on it, and a new window opens underneath the one they are reading. They finish the article, close the tab, and there is the advertiser's page, full-screen, waiting for them. That is a popunder, and PopCash has specialised in this one format since 1 October 2012. The site calls itself The Popunder Network, and the whole platform is arranged around the two people a popunder connects: the publisher whose page fired it and the advertiser whose page it opened.
Each side gets its own door. A publisher pastes one piece of code and is paid 80% of the revenue, with daily payments from $10. An advertiser deposits $5 and can have a campaign on air in under ten minutes. Both sit on the same in-house ad server, both see reports refreshed every ten minutes, and both reach the same support team by e-mail or Teams.
How a PopCash popunder works
The ad code goes onto whichever pages the publisher chooses. When a visitor clicks anywhere on one of those pages, the advertiser's landing page opens in a new window underneath the current browser window. Nothing covers the content the visitor came for; the ad is noticed when they close or minimise what they were reading, and that full-screen moment is the reason advertisers keep choosing the format for its conversion rate.
Two rules keep the format comfortable for everyone. Each visitor is shown one popunder every 24 hours, so a regular reader is not chased around the site, and an advertiser's budget reaches a fresh person each time rather than the same one five times an afternoon. And the code does not interfere with banner ads already on the page, so a publisher adds PopCash on top of an existing setup instead of replacing it. Pricing is set by dynamic bidding: what a slice of traffic earns or costs depends on its quality, the visitor's location and how many advertisers want it.
Two paths onto the same network
Both start with a registration and both are designed to be finished in about ten minutes. Which one you take depends on whether you have the traffic or want it.
If you have the traffic: publisher
- Register a publisher account.
- Submit your website for approval.
- Place the popunder code on the pages you choose, or install the WordPress or Blogger plugin.
The domain is approved within 1 hour on business days and up to 12 hours at weekends. From then on each visitor sees one popunder a day, and earnings appear in reports refreshed every 10 minutes.
If you want the traffic: advertiser
- Register an advertiser account.
- Deposit $5 or more through PayPal, Paxum or wire transfer.
- Build and submit your campaign once the funds show in the account.
Campaigns are approved within 1 hour on business days and up to 12 hours at weekends, and can be on air in less than 10 minutes. A message to the team on chat or e-mail speeds the review up further.
Five numbers and what they mean in practice
These are the figures a publisher or advertiser meets in the first week, and each one changes how the day-to-day feels.
Enough to open an advertiser account and run a first campaign, so a GEO, a device or a carrier can be tested before a real budget is committed.
A publisher does not have to build up a large balance first. A small site can request its first payment early and see the money arrive.
Of what advertisers pay for a publisher's traffic, 80% goes to the publisher.
A new domain or a new campaign is reviewed within an hour on business days and within 12 hours at weekends, so a launch planned for the morning happens that morning.
Statistics refresh every ten minutes, so a bid change or a new placement shows its effect within the same hour rather than the next day.
Earning as a publisher
The revenue share is 80%, and the campaigns behind it come from exclusive advertisers with direct campaigns and high rates. Payment requests are processed daily, within a matter of hours, and the minimum withdrawal is $10. Payouts go through PayPal, Paxum, Skrill and wire transfer; the homepage lists more than eight processors in total, Bitcoin and WebMoney among them.
Setup is a paste job. The ad code drops into any website and works on every device, and there are ready-made plugins for WordPress and Blogger. Every ad that runs through the code is moderated continuously by the PopCash team with internal and third-party tools, which is what lets a publisher put the code on a page and get on with attracting visitors. There is also a 10% referral programme: bring in a friend and earn from their activity, with no limit on how much or for how long.
Running a campaign as an advertiser
Everything is self-serve: create, manage, edit, pause and delete campaigns from an interface that works on a phone as well as a desktop. Targeting covers GEOs, devices, operating systems, carriers, browsers and additional custom parameters, so a campaign can be as broad as a whole country or as narrow as Android users on one carrier. Once traffic is flowing, publisher whitelisting and blacklisting let you keep the placements that convert and drop the ones that do not, which is where most of the ROI work on a popunder campaign happens.
Reports update every ten minutes, and the API lets a team pull statistics and automate campaign changes rather than doing them by hand. The platform runs on PopCash's own in-house ad server, and internal and third-party fraud detection keeps the traffic you pay for genuine. Deposits start at $5 and are accepted through PayPal, Paxum and wire transfer.
Checking the landing page from the visitor's carrier
A popunder campaign on PopCash is usually bought by country, device and carrier, and the landing page behind it opens on a phone, over that carrier's network, the moment the visitor closes what they were reading. So it is worth seeing exactly what they see: the redirect chain, the language and currency, how the page loads on a mobile connection. Publishers have the mirror image of the same question, since they want to know what their visitors from a given country are being shown on their own pages.
PROXIES.SX supplies 4G/5G mobile IPs by country, so one mobile IP in Brazil or Germany opens the landing page, or the publisher's page, the way a mobile visitor on that carrier would. Endpoints are free and bandwidth is billed per GB, so a check before each launch costs only the traffic it uses.
From a 2012 launch to four billion monthly visitors
PopCash was established in 2012, and the core team had been in online advertising for more than a decade before that. The About page tells the story year by year.
Alex and Radu sketch out the concept in the first months of the year. Internal tests begin on 20 September and the first version goes live on 1 October.
The network turns its attention to mobile traffic and passes 1 million daily views.
More than 500 million unique monthly visitors pass through the network.
A completely redesigned platform launches. The development and support teams have grown to ten people and the company has moved to a larger office.
The About page lists a team of 14: the co-founders as CEO and CFO, a COO, a head of RTB, a project manager, account managers, customer care specialists, a social media manager, a full-stack developer and a tech consultant.
For an advertiser, four billion monthly visitors across 120,000 active publishers means there is inventory in most GEOs at most hours of the day. For a publisher, ten thousand running campaigns means there is usually an advertiser bidding on their traffic, and the 600,000 payments already sent show how routine the daily payout has become.
Support and contact
Live support runs by e-mail and Teams for every user, publisher and advertiser alike, and it is there 24/7. The general address is contact@popcash.net, and a Report Malware link sits in the footer of every page, so anyone who notices a problem creative can flag it and keep the pages clean.
Flexibility and adaptability to any project's particularities and requirements, regardless of scale, is how the company sums up its own approach, and business proposals are welcome through the contact form. The About page also collects write-ups from affiliate blogs such as Affiliate Valley, ProfitSocial, Tech Diaries and Way2earning, and offers a press kit with the logo in vector and raster formats.
