PSB Hosting Review 2026

VPS and Hi-CPU servers · Netherlands, Germany, Finland, USA · DDR5, NVMe RAID 10, unmetered traffic

PSB Hosting sells VPS in four countries at exactly the same price in each, which is the first thing worth knowing: picking the Netherlands, Germany, Finland or the USA is a latency decision, not a budget one. Plans run from $8/month for 1 vCPU, 2 GB DDR5 and 30 GB NVMe up to $120/month for 16 vCPU and 32 GB, with unmetered traffic on every tier and genuine daily billing from $0.28. A separate Hi-CPU line on the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X at 4.5 GHz targets CPU-bound work. Unusually for this end of the market, the operator publishes a real legal entity, and we verified it: HOSTING INDUSTRY LIMITED, UK company 16077070, Active at Companies House. This review lays out the full plan grid, works out what the Hi-CPU premium actually buys, and is straight about what is not included.

Plan counts, prices and specifications read from PSB Hosting's own product data at time of writing. Company details independently confirmed against the UK Companies House register.

The plan grid

Five tiers, offered identically in the Netherlands, Germany, Finland and the USA. The plan codes simply carry the country prefix, so NL-300, DE-300, FI-300 and US-300 are the same machine at the same price in different places.

TierSpecificationMonthlyDaily12 monthsBackup/copy
xx-1001 vCPU · 2 GB RAM · 30 GB NVMe$8$0.28$81.60$1.50
xx-2002 vCPU · 4 GB RAM · 60 GB NVMe$12$0.40$122.40$3
xx-3004 vCPU · 8 GB RAM · 100 GB NVMe$25$0.85$255$5
xx-4008 vCPU · 16 GB RAM · 200 GB NVMe$60$2$612$10
xx-50016 vCPU · 32 GB RAM · 400 GB NVMe$120$4$1,224$20

Term discounts apply automatically and are not promotional: 5% at three months, 10% at six, 15% at twelve. The daily rate is a real option rather than a rounding of the monthly one, which makes short-lived boxes practical. Note the backup column: copies are billed separately and scale with the plan.

What the Hi-CPU premium actually buys

This is the part of the catalogue most worth thinking about before you order, so here is the direct comparison. At every tier the vCPU, RAM and disk are identical to the standard plan. The only difference is the processor: an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X at 4.5 GHz with DDR5.

TierIdentical specificationStandardHi-CPUPremium
FI-1001 vCPU · 2 GB · 30 GB$8/mo$12/mo+50%
FI-2002 vCPU · 4 GB · 60 GB$12/mo$20/mo+67%

FI-50016 vCPU · 32 GB · 400 GB$120/mo$200/mo+67%

Read it as a clock-speed surcharge of 50 to 67 percent. That is money well spent if your bottleneck is a single thread: builds and CI, database work, video encoding, game servers, parsing and heavy backend processing all benefit directly from per-core speed. It is money wasted on an idle web server, a staging box or a VPN endpoint, where the standard plan gives you exactly the same cores, memory and disk for a third less.

One constraint to plan around: Hi-CPU is Finland only. If your workload is CPU-bound and also needs to sit in the USA or the Netherlands, that combination is not available, and you would be choosing between location and clock speed.

Platform and software

AMD and Intel, DDR5, NVMe RAID 10

The stated platform is modern AMD and Intel processors with DDR5 memory and NVMe storage on RAID 10, in datacentres the company classes as TIER III+ with a quoted 99.99% uptime. Those figures are the vendor’s own.

Unmetered traffic on every plan

No traffic caps are applied on any tier, on a channel the site describes as dedicated and up to 10 Gbit/s. Read "up to" carefully: it is a ceiling for the range, not a guarantee attached to the $8 plan.

33 operating system images

Ubuntu 20.04 through 26.04, Debian 11 to 13, CentOS 9 and 10 Stream, Alma and Rocky 8 to 10, Oracle Linux 8 to 10, FreeBSD 13 and 15 including ZFS, Astra Linux CE, plus Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 and Windows 10 and 11.

One-click application images

Docker and Portainer, WordPress, Bitrix, Django, Node and LAMP, the Keitaro tracker, and OpenVPN, WireGuard and Outline for VPN work. FastPanel, HestiaCP and VestaCP are available as free panel images.

Cards and crypto

Visa and Mastercard alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT and Qiwi. The mix tells you who the audience is: this is a host comfortable with affiliate and automation customers, not only conventional web hosting.

Support on Telegram and email

Support runs 24/7 through Telegram (@psbhosting, plus a bot and a news channel) and support@psb.hosting, with a published abuse mailbox and a UK phone number. Domain registration is offered alongside the servers.

Who is behind it

We check this on every hosting review, and most shops at this price point publish nothing. PSB Hosting publishes a full legal footer, and the details check out against the public register.

HOSTING INDUSTRY LIMITED, company number 16077070, registered office 21 Ellis Street, London, SW1X 9AL, United Kingdom.

Confirmed on the UK Companies House register as a private limited company with status Active, incorporated on 13 November 2024, with first accounts due by 31 August 2027.

The honest reading of that: a named, traceable UK entity is a real advantage over the anonymous operators common in this segment, and it also means the company is young and has not yet filed accounts, so there is no public trading history to judge. Both things are true at once.

Honest limitations

  • Hi-CPU is Finland only. The Ryzen 9 7950X line does not exist in the Netherlands, Germany or the USA, so a CPU-bound workload that must be hosted elsewhere cannot use it.
  • The Hi-CPU premium is real money. 50 to 67 percent more for identical vCPU, RAM and disk. Worth it for per-core-bound work, wasteful for anything else, and the standard plan is the honest default.
  • Backups are not included. They are billed per copy from $1.50 on the entry plan to $20 on the largest, so factor that into the monthly figure rather than treating $8 as the all-in cost.
  • No licensed control panel is sold. The only checkout option is no control panel. FastPanel, HestiaCP and VestaCP are available as free preinstalled images, but if your workflow depends on cPanel or Plesk you would be bringing and licensing it yourself.
  • The company is young. Incorporated November 2024, with no filed accounts yet. The entity is verifiable, which is more than most competitors offer, but verifiable is not the same as a long track record.
  • Performance claims are unverified. 99.99% uptime, TIER III+ datacentre classification and the up-to-10 Gbit/s channel are the vendor's statements. We did not rent a server or benchmark anything for this review.
  • The site is Russian-first. An English locale exists, but the marketing pages, blog and legal documents are written primarily in Russian, and some English pages are visibly translated. Read the offer agreement in Russian if the terms matter to you.
  • Minor detail worth flagging. The contacts page lists the phone number as +44 7457 409035 while the site footer shows +44 4757 409035. One of the two is a typo, so use Telegram or email if you need a reliable channel.

PSB Hosting + PROXIES.SX: the machine and its exit identity

This is a clean complement rather than an overlap, and the reason is worth stating precisely. PSB Hosting sells you the machine: root access, unmetered traffic, DDR5 and NVMe, and one datacentre IP in the Netherlands, Germany, Finland or the USA. That IP is the problem. A datacentre address is the first thing most anti-bot systems screen out, so anything that touches a real platform from that server is starting from the worst possible network reputation.

PROXIES.SX supplies the layer that fixes it: 4G/5G mobile and residential exits billed per GB from $4 down to $2.40 at volume, with GB that never expire and endpoints included free. The server does the compute and holds the state; the proxy decides what the far end sees. PSB ships Docker, Portainer and Keitaro images, so a scraping or media-buying stack assembles quickly on top. If you are running a VPN endpoint or a plain website instead, you do not need us at all, and we would rather say so.

Verdict

4.2 / 5

PSB Hosting does the boring things right. Flat pricing across four countries removes a decision most hosts turn into a pricing game, daily billing from $0.28 makes throwaway boxes genuinely practical, unmetered traffic sits on every tier rather than the expensive ones, and the 33 OS images cover current Ubuntu, Debian 13, FreeBSD 15 ZFS and the full modern Windows Server range. Most importantly for a segment full of anonymous resellers, the operator publishes a real company and it checks out: HOSTING INDUSTRY LIMITED, UK 16077070, Active. What keeps it off a higher mark is specific rather than vague. The Hi-CPU line costs 50 to 67 percent more for identical cores, memory and disk and exists in Finland alone; backups are billed separately per copy; no licensed control panel is offered at all; and the company, while traceable, was incorporated only in November 2024 with no accounts filed yet. 4.2 out of 5: a well-priced, transparently-run VPS host that suits automation, VPN and development work particularly well - and one where the standard plans, not the Hi-CPU tier, are the right default unless your bottleneck is genuinely a single core.
