Multilogin Proxy SetupEnterprise-grade fingerprint protection

Multilogin X is the industry standard for enterprise multi-account management. This guide shows you how to configure mobile proxies with Mimic and Stealthfox browser engines for maximum stealth.

Multilogin X Features

  • Mimic (Chromium) & Stealthfox (Firefox) engines
  • Most advanced fingerprint spoofing
  • Selenium, Puppeteer & Playwright support
  • API for automation workflows

Choose Your Browser Engine

Multilogin offers two browser engines. Both work perfectly with our mobile proxies.

Mimic Browser

Chromium-based

Based on Chromium, Mimic is ideal for most use cases. Best compatibility with modern web apps and Chrome extensions.

  • Chrome extension support
  • Best for social media
  • Puppeteer automation

Stealthfox Browser

Firefox-based

Based on Firefox, Stealthfox offers different fingerprint characteristics. Good for sites that flag Chromium browsers.

  • Firefox fingerprint
  • Unique canvas rendering
  • Selenium automation

Proxy Configuration Guide

Set up mobile proxies in Multilogin X step by step.

1

Create a New Browser Profile

In Multilogin X, click Create Profile. Choose Mimic or Stealthfox based on your target platform.

Recommendation: Use Mimic for most social media and e-commerce platforms. Use Stealthfox if you encounter issues with Chromium detection.
2

Configure Proxy in Profile Settings

Go to the Proxy section in your profile settings. Select connection type and enter credentials:

SOCKS5
proxy.proxies.sx
10001
your_username
••••••••••••
3

Match Fingerprint to Proxy Location

In the Navigator and Hardware sections, configure settings to match your proxy:

  • Set Language to match proxy country (en-US for US proxy)
  • Set Timezone based on proxy location
  • Enable Get timezone based on IP option
  • Set Geolocation to ask or based on IP
4

Test and Launch

Click Check Proxy to verify the connection, then Start to launch the profile.

Proxy Connected
174.xxx.xxx.xxx • Mobile • United States

API Automation

Automate profile creation with proxies using the Multilogin API.

Automation Tip: Use our API to generate proxy credentials programmatically, then feed them into Multilogin's profile creation API for fully automated scaling.

Multilogin Best Practices

Dedicated Proxy Per Profile

Each Multilogin profile should have its own dedicated proxy port. Our Private plan provides isolated ports for each account.

Consistent Hardware Profiles

Lock hardware fingerprints to prevent changes between sessions. Sudden fingerprint changes trigger security systems.

Use Quick Profiles Wisely

Quick profiles are great for testing but save important accounts as regular profiles for persistent storage.

Enable IP-Based Timezone

Let Multilogin detect timezone from proxy IP automatically. This ensures perfect consistency with your proxy location.

Team Workspace Organization

Use Multilogin's team features to organize profiles by project. Assign proxy pools to specific workspaces.

Regular Fingerprint Updates

Multilogin releases new fingerprint databases regularly. Keep profiles updated for latest spoofing capabilities.
