About China Telecom
Seven ASNs are recorded for China Telecom. AS4134, the CHINANET backbone, is the only one with a documented mobile role, and at the last probe it announced 732 IPv4 prefixes against 633 IPv6 prefixes. PeeringDB describes it as China Telecom, also known as ChinaNet, typed NSP. AS4809 (CN2), AS4816 and AS4835 are recorded as enterprise, the last two data-centre networks with 45 and 74 IPv4 prefixes. AS4811, AS4812 and AS4813 are regional networks with no documented role; AS4812 announced no prefixes and AS4813 announced three.
An address whose origin ASN is one of these seven is routed by China Telecom, though only AS4134 has a mobile role in the registry, and CHINANET carries fixed broadband subscriber traffic next to mobile subscriber traffic. For AS4811, AS4812 and AS4813 the role is not documented, so an address there could be mobile, fixed or enterprise, and the ASN alone does not settle it. Origin in the enterprise and data-centre ASNs points away from consumer handset traffic.

AS4134 (CHINANET backbone) is China Telecom's unified consumer backbone carrying fixed broadband and mobile subscriber traffic; PeeringDB record: name 'China Telecom', aka 'ChinaNet', website en.chinatelecom.com.cn, type NSP. AS4809 (CN2, 'Next Generation Carrier Network') is the premium enterprise/transit network, not the consumer mobile network. AS4811/4812 (Shanghai) and AS4813 (Guangdong backbone) are regional China Telecom (Group) networks whose fixed-vs-mobile role was not determined from fetched sources. AS4816 and AS4835 are IDC (data centre) networks. AS4810 and AS4815 are China Telecom (Group) but unannounced per RIPEstat and were omitted. PeeringDB was rate-limited (HTTP 429) for all ASNs other than 4134, so those rest on RIPEstat holder names only. MCC/MNC: candidate rows 460-03 and 460-05 are CDMA codes; Wikipedia states CDMA2000 was shut down Dec 2023, so they were dropped; 460-11 (LTE/5G, operational) is the live China Telecom code and was added from the same table.
