The most useful thing on Hidemium's website is not a feature. It is a disclaimer. The pricing page ships 16 plan objects in its own page payload, 14 of them carrying a price, from $15/month BASIC to $420/month BUSINESS on the cloud side and $25 to $700 on the local side, with VND prices alongside, plus an unpriced "Customized" tier. The same page then states that "the prices are for reference only" and that "all payments are processed directly through the software". So nothing you can read on the web is contractual, and you cannot buy anything without installing the desktop app first. Two more costs never appear on that page at all: a 20% tax on Stripe payments, as the vendor words it, disclosed only in an undated Vietnamese-language release note, and the price of Hidemium's own residential proxy IPs, which is published nowhere. The browser underneath is genuinely strong: 149 browser cores, a 419-page manual, two generations of local API and one of the deepest automation node catalogues in the category. It is the commercial and legal wrapper, not the engineering, that costs it points here.
By the numbers
Read from Hidemium's own public pages at time of writing: plan records parsed out of the pricing page payload, core count from the download page, documentation count from the docs index, URL count from sitemap.xml, outbound links counted on the partners page. Figures move; treat them as a snapshot.
Cloud plans, with the cost per profile worked out
The plan data is published in full, which is more than most of this category does. The new-profiles column is Hidemium's own "limit creating new N profiles per day" figure, which caps how many profiles you can create in a day, not how many you can launch. The last column is our arithmetic, not theirs: monthly price divided by the profile cap.

Three things fall straight out of that table. First, the annual discount is a flat 15% on every tier, no exceptions, which is at least honest arithmetic. Second, BASIC is dominated by ADVANCED: $5 more per month buys 3.3 times the profiles and four times the accounts per profile, so there is very little reason to sit on BASIC. Third, the price per profile collapses hard with scale, from $0.50 on BASIC to about $0.03 on BUSINESS, which tells you who the pricing is really built for.
One ladder runs backwards. The AI agent integrations listed per tier are Hidemium free, Anthropic, OpenAI and Gemini on BASIC, PREMIUM and BUSINESS, but only Hidemium free and OpenAI on ADVANCED. The cheaper plan lists more model providers than the plan above it. That is either an error on the pricing page or a genuinely strange packaging decision, and either way it is the kind of thing worth confirming in-app before you pay.
Local plans, and what a "lifetime" licence is worth here
Local plans give unlimited profiles stored on one machine rather than synced across devices. The notes column is our reading of the published numbers.

The lifetime maths is the interesting part. LIFETIME-TEAM at $500 pays for itself against the $320 annual plan in about 19 months, and the business variant in about 26. That is a good deal if the counterparty is still there in year three. Hidemium's domain was created in February 2023 and is registered to a privacy shield in Iceland, with no legal entity named anywhere on the site. A lifetime licence is a promise, and a promise needs someone to hold it against. Note also that the Terms of Service prohibits sharing, lending, reselling or transferring local-plan accounts, with no date attached to that clause, so a lifetime seat is not an asset you can pass on. A separate clause, this one dated, states that from 1 July 2025 Hidemium no longer supports cases involving invalid licences such as cracked versions or shared keys.
What the software actually does
149 browser cores, two published builds
Current version 4.3.1. The download page offers exactly two binaries, Windows and macOS, and states 149 browser cores are available. Linux and Android are claimed by Hidemium in its own structured data and in plan feature bullets, but no Linux or Android download is linked anywhere on that page, so treat the wider OS list as a vendor claim. Core diversity matters because it is what lets a fleet of profiles present plausibly different Chrome builds instead of one repeated signature.
Local REST API on localhost
Two documented generations, and they do not share a port: V2 is documented on 127.0.0.1:5555 while V4, the generation matching the shipping 4.3.1 app, is documented on 127.0.0.1:2222. Check which one your script targets before you wire anything up. Between them they cover open, close and check profile, list profiles, statuses, tags, versions and folders, create profile in default or custom form, change fingerprint, rename, sync tags, update proxy and delete. openProfile returns the remote debugging port, profile path and executable path, so anything that speaks CDP can drive it.
A deep no-code automation builder
The node catalogue is documented in detail: navigator nodes for tabs, URLs, reload, screenshot and frame switching, mouse nodes including press-and-hold and scroll wheel, keyboard, finger tap and touch-move, about 30 data nodes covering HTTP, Eval, spreadsheets, IMAP mail reading, Outlook OAuth2, authenticator codes and image search, plus If, While, For, sub-script and shell command flow control.
Proxy handling, including over SSH
HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS5 and proxy over SSH are all supported. The Proxy Manager takes bulk import and export as Type|IP|Port|Username|Password by text or file and has a built-in checker. Hidemium claims proxy over SSH is something no other antidetect tool offers, which is the vendor framing this feature, not a result we tested.
A wide editable fingerprint surface
Documented as adjustable: IP, user agent, cookies, time zone, language, media devices, hardware, architecture, screen size, WebGL metadata, noise, hardware concurrency, device memory, battery state, canvas, WebGPU and fonts. Config counts are stated per tier as 10,000 on FREE, 100,000 on BASIC, 10 million on ADVANCED and unlimited above that.
MCP, IPv6 manager, Puppeteer on paid tiers
The release notes are unusually informative: 4.2.0 added an IPv6 manager, 4.2.8 added a QR payment route, and 4.2.9 lists Hidemium MCP. Puppeteer automation is a paid-tier feature and is not available on the free plan. Dates are a weak point though: the five most recent entries, 4.2.7 through 4.3.1, carry no date at all, and the dated ones mix day-first and month-first formats.
Documentation is a real asset and a real problem at the same time. The GitBook index lists 419 pages and exposes a markdown version of every one by appending .md to the URL, which is excellent for anyone wiring an agent into it. But large parts of the Hidemium 4 docs, the advanced automation guides and several API node descriptions are Vietnamese only, and the top-level English docs page still describes the product as the "best anti-browser software in 2022" and reports it was last updated two years ago.

The partners page is paid placement. The directory pages are a mix, and none of them are tests. 80 of those 102 outbound partner links carry referral or tracking parameters, and in the proxy section 69 of the 87 cards do. The directory pages themselves are monetised much less consistently: we pulled the hero visit link on all 67 live proxy-vendor pages and only 13 carry a referral or tracking code, so roughly one in five is monetised and the rest link out plain. The VPN and AI-tool pages we sampled carried no referral parameter at all beyond the site-wide footer partner carousel, which appears on every page including the Terms of Service. What none of these pages are is a test. A concrete example of the monetised kind: one vendor page repeats that vendor's figures - 12 million clean IPs, 200+ geographies, a 99.78% success rate, from $0.6 per GB - as flat fact, on a page carrying a Hidemium referral code, with nothing to indicate that any of it was measured.
The free proxy list is weak by its own data: 452 records, of which 153 (34%) carry a single country code, mg, 24 have no country at all and 61 are flagged transparent rather than elite. One sampled entry reports a 7,517 ms ping. It is a lead magnet, not a resource. The "Free Tools" page is likewise a directory of other people's tools - Pixelscan, Whoer, BrowserLeaks, AmIUnique, CreepJS, Cover Your Tracks, BrowserScan, FV.Pro - rather than anything Hidemium built.
Our own disclosure: PROXIES.SX already appears on that partners page, in the proxy section, described as "AI-native 4G/5G mobile and residential proxies on real SIM cards", with a plain link and no referral parameter. In other words we are one entry among roughly ninety competitors on a page whose ordering is commercially driven. We are telling you that rather than quietly citing the listing as third-party validation.
Yes, they sell proxies. Here is the honest comparison.
We sell mobile proxies for a living, so this section is stated plainly rather than skipped. Hidemium competes with us in three distinct ways.
1. In-app residential IPs
Since app version 4.2.7 there is a built-in residential proxy screen with a proxy list, a today list, a Buy IPs flow and auto top-up settings. The affiliate policy treats "hidemium proxy" as a billable add-on resource excluded from commission. No price is published on the web; the entire flow lives behind the app login.
2. Bundled proxy giveaways
Every paid tier lists "FREE 500MB proxy with the first purchase" and "FREE ISP Proxies daily" as plan inclusions. Both are single bullet lines with no supporting page, so which network, which countries and what rotation policy apply is unstated.
3. HideProxy
Promoted from the Hidemium homepage hero with a Hidemium campaign parameter, listed first in the proxy section of the partners page, and wired into the proxy nav of Hidemium's own fingerprint subdomain. Whether it is a sister brand or an arm-length partner we could not confirm.

To be fair to the model rather than just to ourselves: flat per-IP pricing with unlimited bandwidth can genuinely beat per-GB if you are pushing sustained heavy traffic through a small number of addresses for a whole month. That is a real use case and we will not pretend otherwise. The problem is that you cannot currently price it. HideProxy's site is Vietnamese only - its /en, /pricing and /sitemap.xml paths all return 404 - its package table rendered empty, its dedicated tier is quoted only over Telegram, and its domain was registered in March 2026. Its headline claims of 20 million residential IPs, 90+ countries, 99% success and 99.9% stability are self-published with no methodology attached. And Hidemium's own in-app IPs have had their sales closed and reopened at least twice according to its own release notes for 4.2.7 and 4.3.1, which is the clearest available signal that supply has not been continuous.
Honest limitations
- The Terms of Service points at company information that does not exist. It tells you that you may refer to the company and licence information found on Hidemium's websites. We looked in all four language versions. There is no company name, no registration number, no VAT identifier and no registered address anywhere. WHOIS is behind an Icelandic privacy shield. This is the single most serious finding on this page.
- The published prices are declared non-binding by the vendor. "The prices are for reference only" and "all payments are processed directly through the software". You must download and install before you can see an authoritative price, which inverts the normal order of a purchase decision.
- A 20% charge on Stripe payments is disclosed only in Vietnamese. Release note 4.2.7 reads, in Vietnamese, "add 20% tax when paying by Stripe". It is not on the pricing page, not in the FAQ and not in English. That entry is also undated and the shipping version is now 4.3.1, so nothing on the site tells you whether the charge is still applied. A buyer reading the English site has no way to know either way.
- The affiliate policy and the pricing page disagree. The affiliate worked example calculates commission on an ADVANCED package at "$108 (current listed price in promotional program)". The pricing page publishes ADVANCED at $20 monthly or $204 annually. Neither number explains the other, and no page reconciles them.
- The GDPR contact is a Telegram handle. The privacy policy names no data controller, no DPO, no postal address and no jurisdiction. The only stated route to exercise access, correction or deletion rights is a chat account. For an EU or UK buyer that is not a workable position.
- The tier ladder inverts on AI providers. BASIC lists Anthropic, OpenAI and Gemini; ADVANCED, which costs more, lists only OpenAI.
- Detection regressions are explicitly not refundable. The return policy limits refunds to two cases - the software cannot be installed or used, or it does not function as advertised with no support received - and states that updates to platforms' anti-antidetect detection "are not mandatory obligations". In other words, the core risk you are buying protection against is carved out of the refund. Change of mind and expired subscriptions are excluded too, and review takes 5 to 7 business days plus 7 to 10 to process.
- No SLA, no status page, no security disclosure. There is no uptime commitment, no incident history and no pentest or security page anywhere on the site.
- The adoption numbers are unverifiable. "5,800+ teams in 130+ countries" and "over 1.5 million accounts" are self-published. The badge set includes a G2 score of 5.0 resting on a single review, which the badge itself admits. Five of the nine homepage testimonials carry no linkable source, all five attributed only to a generic job title; the other four do link out, three to Product Hunt and one to G2. "Trusted by leading global enterprises" names no enterprise.
- The fingerprint-config figures are asserted, not evidenced. "10,000 / 100,000 / 10,000,000 / unlimited configs based on real-user data" is stated with no explanation of where the real-user data comes from or how it was collected.
- Documentation rot and language gaps. The English docs landing page still says 2022 and "last updated 2 years ago", while advanced automation and several API node descriptions exist only in Vietnamese.
- Platform-terms exposure sits with you. The product is explicitly marketed for multi-accounting on Facebook, Google, TikTok, Amazon, eBay, Shopee and Lazada, plus ticket scalping, traffic arbitrage and airdrop use cases. Hidemium's own FAQ answers that antidetect browsers are legitimate privacy software, and adds that whether a specific workflow is allowed "depends on the terms of service of each platform you use". We are describing what is sold, not recommending you breach anyone's terms.
Hidemium + PROXIES.SX: partners who overlap, and we will say where
The clean part of the relationship is real. Hidemium is the fingerprint and orchestration layer: one isolated profile per account, its own canvas, WebGL, fonts, timezone and hardware story, driven by a local API and an automation graph. PROXIES.SX is the network layer underneath it: one matching-geo 4G/5G mobile IP per profile so that the addresses never group. A perfect fingerprint behind a shared address still gets clustered, and a clean mobile IP behind a repeated fingerprint still gets clustered. You need both layers, and they are genuinely different products.
The overlapping part we have already stated in full above: Hidemium sells residential IPs inside the app, bundles proxy giveaways as plan differentiators, and promotes HideProxy from its own hero. Where we differ is not politeness, it is model. We run our own 4G/5G mobile and residential network and bill per GB, from $4 down to $2.40 at volume. GB never expire, so a slow month is not a lost month. Endpoints are free, which is the point that matters most for antidetect work: if every profile can have its own endpoint at no extra cost, there is no economic reason to ever share an IP between accounts. And our price is on our public pricing page, readable before you install anything.

Referral programme, in brief
The rates
10% on a referred user first purchase, 5% on their subsequent renewals, 1% on second-level referrals, and 2% for the person entering the code. Note that the policy words that last one as a 2% commission credit, not as a discount off the purchase price. Modest by category standards but clearly documented.
The payout terms
Minimum withdrawal $50, paid by PayPal globally or by bank transfer within Vietnam, processed within 7 business days. Commission is calculated on the plan original price excluding add-on resources, which explicitly names hidemium proxy, extra profiles, team members, devices and coupon codes.
Where support lives
A Crisp live chat widget site-wide, support@hidemium.io, a Telegram support handle and a global Telegram group, a Facebook group and page, Discord, X, YouTube and TikTok, plus a community forum on its own subdomain. There is no telephone number and no postal address.
What is machine-readable
robots.txt explicitly allows GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, CCBot and the rest by name, and sets content signals to search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no. Docs expose markdown for every page. This is a site built to be read by models as well as people.
Verdict
As software, Hidemium is comfortably in the upper half of this category. 149 browser cores, a 419-page manual with markdown for every page, two generations of local REST API, an automation node catalogue that reaches IMAP mail reading and authenticator codes, proxy over SSH, an MCP integration and four properly hreflang-ed languages is a lot of real engineering, and the pricing is aggressive: $20 a month for 100 profiles is competitive with anything in the segment. What holds it to three and a half is everything wrapped around the software. No legal entity is named in any language, while the terms tell you to go read company information that was never published. The prices are disclaimed as "for reference only". A 20% charge on Stripe payments exists only in an undated Vietnamese release note. The affiliate policy quotes a price that appears on no other page. The refund policy carves out detection regressions, which is the exact risk the product exists to manage. And its 102-link partners page is affiliate inventory, with 80 of those links carrying referral or tracking parameters, so nothing it says about any proxy vendor, ourselves included, should be read as a test. 3.5 out of 5: buy it for the automation and the API, ask support whether the 20% Stripe charge still applies before you pay by card, verify every price inside the app, and do not treat a "lifetime" licence from an unnamed counterparty as a durable asset.

What is a vendor claim, reproduced as a claim and not as fact: the adoption figures (5,800+ teams, 130+ countries, 1.5 million accounts), the on-site rating badges including a G2 score based on one review, the fingerprint-config counts and their "real-user data" provenance, the assertion that proxy over SSH is unique to Hidemium, the free-plan and trial terms, the contents of the "FREE 500MB proxy" and "FREE ISP Proxies daily" inclusions, and every HideProxy figure (20M+ IPs, 90+ countries, 99% success, 99.9% stability, 2.4k reviews, from $0.015 per IP).
We did not purchase. No account was created, no payment made and no profile launched, so nothing here establishes detection quality, fingerprint consistency, automation reliability or proxy performance. We could not determine who legally operates Hidemium, could not obtain a price for its in-app residential IPs, and could not confirm the relationship between Hidemium and HideProxy. Third-party review platforms were deliberately not consulted; this review is built from primary sources only.
