How do proxies work with WStudio?

Instagram registration and account management on physical Samsung devices

Every account WStudio creates is registered on a physical Samsung Galaxy, not in an emulator. The phone opens the app, receives the SMS code, sets the photo and fills in the BIO, and it stays the home of that account afterwards. WStudio splits the work into two products: WS INSTREG registers the accounts and WS INSTPOST manages them.

Why physical phones

Instagram sees a Samsung Galaxy S8, S9 or S10 with its own hardware, screen and Wi-Fi connection, because that is what is there. Each phone runs its own process with its own visible status, so an operator can see at any moment which device is registering, which one is publishing and which one is waiting. There are no hidden cloud agents in between: the state of every account and device shows in the application itself.

The entry point is low. The software treats one prepared Samsung the same as a rack of twenty, so you can walk through the full cycle on a single phone before buying more. WS INSTREG creates the accounts and WS INSTPOST runs them afterwards. You can buy either one on its own.

WS INSTREG registers accounts

The registration tool. It orders a number from one of seven SMS services with a choice of country and carrier, picks a preset for one of 101 countries so the language, time zone and network codes match, and replaces the device identity before every new account. The photo, BIO, email and 2FA are set while the account is being created, so the profile comes out finished rather than empty.

On a farm of Galaxy S9+ phones this adds up to roughly 1,000 to 2,000 accounts a day. Each result is saved as its own folder, ready for import.

WS INSTPOST manages them

The operations console for a pool of up to 1,000 accounts. Accounts come in from WS INSTREG folders or from plain lists, pass through a checker that marks each one OK, BAN or ERROR, and stay bound to the phone they were checked on. From there the operator schedules Reels, Stories and Feed posts, profile updates, likes, follows, Direct messages and Stories views.

Published media is uniquified for each account, and a post only counts as done once it is visible on the profile, so the statistics reflect what happened rather than what was attempted.

Proxies and working across countries

WStudio does not attach a proxy to each account. Instead, routing lives on the Wi-Fi router or gateway, and the recommended setup is an OpenWrt gateway with mobile SOCKS5 proxies. Every phone on that network uses the route it is given, which keeps the proxy layer out of the software and makes it easy to give different groups of phones different exits.

In practice that is how an operator works across geos: one group of phones registers with numbers and a preset for a given country and sits behind a mobile IP from the same country, another group does the same for a second market, and the SMS country, the device preset, the time zone and the exit all match. It also keeps account batches separated from each other at the network level.
