About Entel

Entel is a Chilean mobile and fixed operator under the Almendral Group. The registry records seven ASNs for it. AS27925, held by Entel PCS Telecomunicaciones S.A. and named entel PCS in PeeringDB, carries the mobile network, and AS6471 covers fixed service. Confirmed mobile codes are MCC 730 with MNC 01 and MNC 10.

Entel announces four of its seven ASNs. The mobile ASN AS27925 originated 18 IPv4 prefixes and no IPv6 prefixes at the last probe, and PeeringDB files it as entel PCS under the Cable/DSL/ISP type. AS6471, entel Chile Servicios Fijos, held 66 IPv4 prefixes and no IPv6. The enterprise ASN AS27651, entel MPLS, is the widest at 852 IPv4 and 363 IPv6 prefixes; AS27986, entel IP Internacional, held 7 and 2. AS19228, AS28047 and AS52252 are registered to Entel but not announced, with no documented role.

An address whose origin ASN is AS27925 is routed by Entel's mobile arm, which is the strongest signal the registry offers for mobile traffic on this network. An address originating from AS6471 or AS27651 belongs to Entel as well, but to its fixed and MPLS enterprise sides. For the three registered but unannounced ASNs the role is not documented, so an address traced to one of them could be mobile, fixed or enterprise, and the ASN alone does not settle it. PeeringDB applies the Cable/DSL/ISP type to the mobile ASN too, so that field does not separate mobile from fixed.

Research note. PeeringDB names: AS27925 'entel PCS' (org 19803, mobile arm), AS6471 'entel Chile Servicios Fijos' (fixed), AS27651 'entel MPLS', AS27986 'entel IP Internacional' (international peering/wholesale, entelwholesale.com). RIPEstat shows AS19228, AS28047 and AS52252 as registered to Entel but not announced; PeeringDB rate-limited (429) for those three so role unverified. MNC 01/10 brand 'entel', operator Entel Telefonía Móvil S.A., Operational on mcc-mnc.dev; mcc-mnc-lookup.com also lists 730-31/32 as Entel PCS Telecomunicaciones S.A. and 730-21/26/29 under other operators branded Entel (not confirmed elsewhere, excluded). entel.cl/5g states 5G available in 300+ communes at no extra cost; Subtel-hosted Ericsson PDF states 5G deployed at 3.5 GHz by Entel, Claro, Movistar and WOM; Subtel Jun-2025 sector report lists Grupo Entel in 3G+4G+5G connections. What is Entel's mobile ASN?
AS27925, registered to Entel PCS Telecomunicaciones S.A. and named entel PCS in PeeringDB. Entel also announces AS6471 for fixed service, AS27651 for MPLS enterprise work and AS27986 for international IP, and three further ASNs sit registered but unannounced.
What is the MCC/MNC of Entel Chile?
MCC 730 with MNC 01 and MNC 10. Both pairs are confirmed for Entel. Public lists attach other 730 codes to Entel-branded entities, but the registry excludes those because no second source confirmed them.
Is an IP from AS6471 a mobile IP?
The registry records AS6471 as Entel's fixed network, named entel Chile Servicios Fijos in PeeringDB, so an address originating there is Entel traffic but not mobile traffic. AS27925 is the ASN documented as carrying Entel's mobile network.
