Holder names and prefix counts come from the RIPE NCC's RIPEstat Data API, fetched on 2026-09-06. Role and confidence come from the evidence linked in each row; "confirmed" means a PeeringDB or RIPEstat record, or the operator's own site, names the operator.

Mobile network codes
The MCC identifies the country and the MNC identifies the operator inside it. Together they appear in the IMSI of every SIM on the network and in device diagnostics; they are how a handset knows which network it is on.
About dtac
The registry lists six ASNs under the dtac name. AS17724, AS132032 and AS133543 are recorded as mobile. AS17724 announces 16 IPv4 prefixes and no IPv6 at the last probe, AS132032 announces 2 IPv4 prefixes and no IPv6, and AS133543 announces 2 IPv4 prefixes against 7 IPv6. PeeringDB names AS133543 "DTAC NIX" and types it Cable/DSL/ISP, and names AS9587 "DTAC ISP" with the same type. AS9587 announces 75 IPv4 prefixes against 40 IPv6, the widest footprint of the six, though the registry ties it to dtac by name alone.
An address whose origin ASN is AS17724, AS132032 or AS133543 is routed by the dtac mobile network. AS23602, registered for the CRIE project, and AS24378 have no documented role, so an address from either could be mobile, fixed or enterprise, and the ASN alone does not settle it. AS9587 is the least certain of the six, because the registry matches it on the name and the PeeringDB label rather than on a source that names the operator.
Research note. dtac (Total Access Communication PCL) merged into True Corporation on 1 March 2023 (Wikipedia: independent brand defunct; previously owned by Telenor). dtac.co.th still operates as a brand site: footer '© 2026 True Corporation Public Company Limited', branding 'True-dtac', packages quote 4G max 100 Mbps and 5G 300 Mbps-1 Gbps. MNC 520-05 is registered to DTAC TriNet Co. Ltd. (UMTS 900/2100, LTE 700/1800/2100, 5G 700) and 520-18 to Total Access Communications PCL (GSM 1800); both listed operational. 520-47 (dtac-T on National Telecom TD-LTE 2300) is not operational and dropped. AS17724: ipinfo consumer ISP, domain dtac.co.th, peers with AS9587. AS132032: ipinfo tags 'Consumer ISP' and 'Mobile', 103.5.24.0/24 and 103.5.25.0/24. AS133543 DTAC TriNet (the 520-05 licence holder), ipinfo domain dtacnetwork.co.th. AS23602 (CRIE Project) and AS24378 (ENGTAC) are registered to dtac but no source states their role. AS9587 DTACNETWORK: RIPEstat holder shows only a street address, and ipinfo names it as AS17724's peer 'DTACNETWORK'; no source names the operator, so name-match-only. PeeringDB per-ASN lookups returned 404 for 17724 and 132032 (no record) and HTTP 429 for the rest; name__contains=dtac also 429, so PeeringDB was not used for this carrier.
Checking whether an IP belongs to dtac
Look up the origin ASN of the address and compare it with the table above. RIPEstat answers for any address, and the RADB whois mirror lists the routes registered under an ASN.
curl -s "https://stat.ripe.net/data/prefix-overview/data.json?resource=203.0.113.9" | jq '.data.asns'whois -h whois.radb.net -- '-i origin AS17724' | grep ^routeQuestions
What is dtac's ASN?
The registry records six ASNs. AS17724, AS132032 and AS133543 are documented as mobile, with AS133543 registered to DTAC TriNet. AS23602 and AS24378 are registered to dtac with no documented role, and AS9587 is matched to the brand by name only.
What is the MCC/MNC of dtac?
The registry records MCC 520 with MNC 05 and MCC 520 with MNC 18, written 520-05 and 520-18. The 520-05 code is registered to DTAC TriNet Co. Ltd. and 520-18 to Total Access Communication PCL, and both are listed as operational.
Is dtac still a separate operator?
dtac merged into True Corporation and is no longer an independent company, having been owned by Telenor before that. The brand site still runs, and the ASNs listed here still announce address space, so dtac-named routes remain in use under True Corporation.
