Hiring Signals Data for Sales Teams and Investors
Use daily new, closed and reposted job counts from public job boards as a hiring signal for account timing or company research, with the limits stated.
By Proxies.sx Team. Reviewed .
A hiring signal here is a change in an employer's public job board: jobs added, closed or reposted since the previous day. The hiring velocity feed records that for 40 employers every day at 06:00 UTC. Sales teams can use it to time outreach, and investors can use it as one input next to filings and other data.

What counts as a signal
Collected by Proxies.sx Data Works from public career boards. Proxies.sx is not affiliated with Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or the employers listed.
Open jobs show how much an employer is recruiting. Daily changes show when that shifts. The feed splits the change into new, closed and reposted jobs, so you can see whether a jump in new jobs is fresh hiring or roles going back up after a short gap.
Field definitions and the repost rule are on the hiring velocity page.

A rise in new jobs at a target account is a reason to look at it this week rather than next quarter. Because reposts are counted separately, a role that keeps going back up does not look like growth. The ats field tells you which hiring system the employer uses, which helps if you sell to recruiting teams.
The list has 40 employers today. Ask about the companies you sell to when you request a sample.
For investors and analysts
Daily board counts for named employers can be lined up against earnings dates, funding rounds or product launches. They are one input. Boards miss confidential searches and roles filled without a public posting, and an employer can move to another system, as the hiring velocity page explains.
40 employers is a watchlist, not coverage of a sector. History starts on 17 October 2026, so the feed cannot yet show seasonal patterns or a year-on-year change.
Reading one day of data
The table shows the largest movers in the scheduled run of 19 October 2026 at 06:00 UTC. It is an exercise in reading the fields, not a forecast.
| Employer | New jobs | Of which reposts | Closed jobs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Databricks | 7 | 4 | 8 |
| Okta | 2 | 0 | 9 |
| Anthropic | 5 | 0 | 3 |
| ElevenLabs | 1 | 0 | 5 |
| Cloudflare | 2 | 0 | 3 |
Databricks added 7 jobs and closed 8, and 4 of the 7 new jobs were reposts. Read on its own, the new count would overstate fresh hiring. Okta closed 9 and added 2. One day like this says little. A run of similar days would.
Comparing with public labour statistics
For the wider market, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes JOLTS job openings each month, and Indeed Hiring Lab publishes research based on job postings on Indeed. This feed is narrower and daily, following specific employers on their own boards.
How to get a sample
Sign in to Data Works in the Proxies.sx dashboard and pick the dataset. The storefront needs an account. You get a sample first, you approve it and a rate, and only then does anything bill. Each finished run can be downloaded as a CSV file with the header row below.
Pricing is indicative from $59 per month.
company,ats,board,open_jobs,new_jobs,closed_jobs,reposted_jobs,captured_atCommon questions
Can I add employers to the list?
Ask when you request the sample. Employers on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby boards can be read the same way.
Does a closed job mean someone was hired?
Not necessarily. A job leaves the board when it is filled, paused or cancelled, and the board does not say which.
How often is it updated?
Once a day at 06:00 UTC.
Sources and test scope
Statistics as of 19 October 2026 at 20:15 UTC, from a read-only aggregate query of the Data Works store. Used-car collection started on 19 October 2026 and hiring collection on 17 October 2026, so there is no earlier history. The used-car figures are partial samples and do not represent any national market. Outside sources were checked on 19 October 2026.
