Hiring Velocity Data: Daily Job Counts by Employer

Each daily delivery has one row per employer. The first run for a board has no earlier run to compare with, so its change fields are empty.

Collected by Proxies.sx Data Works from public career boards. Proxies.sx is not affiliated with Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or the employers listed. The latest run counted 9,589 open jobs across 40 employers.

These are employer-level totals from public boards. One employer may post the same role in several cities as separate jobs, and the totals count each one.

The scheduled run of 19 October 2026 at 06:00 UTC, compared with the run of 18 October 2026 at 06:00 UTC, found 33 new jobs, 5 of them reposts, and 42 closed jobs across 39 employers with change figures.

This is one day. Treat it as an example of what a row holds, not as a trend.

A job counts as new when a run sees its id for the first time. It also counts as a repost when the same board closed a job with the same title and location in the previous 60 days. Each closed job can be matched to one later job at most. Reposts stay inside the new count, so subtract them to get roles that were not listed recently.

A job counts as closed when a successful read of the board no longer lists it. When a board fails to load, the run skips that employer and closes nothing, so a network error cannot show up as a wave of closures.

A board shows only the jobs an employer chooses to publish. Lever's documentation, for example, says that only postings in the published state appear in its API and that all other jobs are hidden. Confidential searches, internal moves and roles filled through agencies do not show up.

Employers also change systems. Open jobs come from the latest completed run, a manual run that also moved Mistral AI from its retired Lever board to its Ashby board (mistral.ai). New, closed and reposted jobs come from the latest scheduled daily run (06:00 UTC on 2026-10-19), compared with the scheduled run of 2026-10-18. Mistral AI has no change figures in that run because its board was not yet readable; its first daily change figures are due from the 2026-10-20 run.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics defines a JOLTS job opening as a specific position with work available, that could start within 30 days, and for which the establishment is recruiting from outside. JOLTS is a survey, and it estimates openings across the US economy as of the last business day of each month.

This feed counts what named employers publish each day. Use JOLTS for the labour market, and this feed to follow particular companies between monthly releases.
